MAJ(P) Carl Moses and SSG(P) Njoroge provide information on Finance Operations in WWII and current efforts such as; Financial Reform, Fiscal Stewardship and the Commander’s Accountability and Execution Review (CAER) Program, and Finance and Comptroller Support to Multi-Domain Operations and Large-Scale Ground Combat.
COL LaSala presenting “Finance and Comptroller Support to Large-Scale Ground Combat (LSGC); from D-Day to Today” at the National PDI; 29-31 May 2019. The briefing’s purpose was to demonstrate the similarities of support provided during Operation Overlord and the support required in Multi-Domain Operations and LSGC.  The briefing also highlighted the rigors Finance and Comptroller Soldiers can expect to face on a highly contested battlefield.
Members of the 136th Finance Disbursing Section, who landed on Omaha Beach on D-Day and D+1, established the first finance office on the Continent, in Vierville, France.  They brought 450K Francs ashore and provided pay and disbursing support to the Allied Invasion and follow-on operations.

Combined Joint Task Force (CJTF) "Operation Inherent Resolve" (OIR) Financial Management Team (CJ8), stationed at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.  The 2018-2019 OIR HQs is largely sourced by the 18th Airborne Corps HQs from Fort Bragg, NC.
